Katie Kern Solo
Guitar and voice, plugged & unplugged. Katie entertains in a variety of styles and genres. From folky fingerpicking to country blues, from jazzy instrumentals to ballads, standards and popular songs from the 60s and 70s - combining her repertoire with songs of her own to conjure a varied evening of exquisite ear-candy.

Longing, irony, saudade, and dark humor – make up the emotional spectrum of songwriter Katie Kern, who performs english and german songs of her own making in this formation since 2019. Rogue Blues are Katie Kern, Claudia K (Vocals, Bass),
Paul Reschenhofer (Git.) and Daniel Klemmer (Perc.). While influenced by the Folk- and Hippie-movement of the 60s and 70s, Americana and timeless Blues, Katie's originals reflect her own musical story, and – at the same time – paying tribute to her personal role-models: Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Steve Earl, Jerry Reed, Tom Waits,
Eric Clapton, Albert Collins and Jimi Hendrix.
